贏創-來自德國,擁有170多年歷史的特用化學品集團,2020年更創下122億歐元的營業額,於台灣在地深耕超過40年,深信台灣擁有優良的研發創新與創業能量,再結合贏創引領全球的獨特材料技術與全球運營網路,可以創造產業的嶄新價值。著眼於此,贏創與全球知名雲端運算服務公司亞馬遜(AWS)合作,結合化學材料與AI雲端數位科技,同時採用線上與線下的方式,共同舉辦 「超越化學邊界,探索未來之星」 新創夥伴招募計畫,徵集台灣的新創公司與團隊,提供與贏創集團各業務線,全球研發中心以及企業創投部門對接的機會,更有AWS的雲端運算技術與經濟部中小企業處於林口新創園AWS聯合創新中心投注之資源,共同打造跨足世界的創新產品和服務。

Taiwan has moved up to 8th spot in the IMD World Competitiveness Ranking 2021 and has always been at the forefront of innovation in such fields as semiconductor, electronics, optics, biomedical, machinery, functional textile and more. Moreover, AI and cloud computing to enable cross-industries innovations, as well as technologies that promote circular economy, green energy and sustainability have also achieved excellent results in Taiwan.

Evonik Group, a Germany-based company with an over 170-year history, is one of the leading specialty chemicals companies. In 2020, the company’s revenue amounted to 12.2 billion euros. With roots in Taiwan that go back more than 40 years, Evonik believes that it will create value for the industry not only because of its advanced material technologies and global network but also Taiwan has a long legacy of innovations and entrepreneurial spirit which it can leverage. Hence, Evonik has worked with the world’s top cloud service provider AWS to launch a startup accelerator program with a theme of “Building Future Stars to Lead Beyond Chemistry” to recruit startups and innovation teams through online-offline competition. The program provides the industry expertise from Evonik, as well as cloud computing and Small and Medium Enterprise Agency’s resources in Startup Terrace AWS JIC for startups to build innovative new solutions and products for the world.

本次計畫的主題包含新材料、AI解決方案和永續發展三大領域,提交形式以可為簡報型計畫書或書面型計畫書,申請之簡報資料、作品展示可以中/英文進行。初選入選團隊在Pitch Day與Demo Day之簡報,需以英文進行。
The accelerator’s focus areas are new materials, AI solutions and sustainability. A PowerPoint slide deck and a Word document, be it in Chinese or English, are both admissible during the initial review. However, an English pitch deck is required on both pitch day and demo day.

新材料 New Materials

包含創新的材料、配方、添加劑、加工 法,針對半導體、5G相關的應用,或是 功能性塗料、輕量化等提案。 Ranging from new materials formulations, additives, processing methods, application used in semiconductors and 5G to functional coatings, lightweight solutions, etc.

AI解決方案 AI Solutions

運用創新AI協助公司開發新材料、新配 方或新產品應用,或以智能檢驗分析, 增加生產效率,物流安排,中文網頁/專 利報告機械閲讀學習分析等。
Using AI to help company develop new materials, formulations or, new products, or to improve intelligent inspection, increase productivity, optimize logistics or facilitate the analysis of Chinese webpages/paten documents.

永續 Sustainability

包含聚氨酯 (polyurethane)或其他工程 塑膠回收循環技術、幫助化學循環的添 加劑、聚氨酯或其他工程塑膠之綠色環 保原料,以及減少化工產業鏈碳足跡等 解決方案。
Circular solutions for polyurethane (PU) or other engineering plastics waste, green additives, materials that help chemical recycling; green raw materials for PU or other engineering plastics synthesis, and solutions that help to reduce carbon footprint in chemical value chain.

初選入圍將可參加贏創與AWS新創工作坊,由專業導師帶領、傳承創業經驗,並可獲得贏創與AWS共同頒發之參加證明。 Applicants selected in the first phase are eligible to attend Evonik and AWS innovation workshops to receive mentorship from seasoned experts. A Certificate of Participation will be issued to participants by Evonik and AWS.

入選第二階段之新創可獲資源

與贏創相對應的業務線,全球研發中心及企業創投部門對接,獲得國際公司寶貴經驗
Applicants selected in the second phase will have direct interactions across Evonik’s different business lines, its global research center, and the corporate venture capital unit for valuable insight.

產品/技術或商業策略與贏創業務具綜效者,將有機會獲得贏創採用該產品/技術、進行共同開發或贏創 企業創投部門的投資
For those applicants whose products/technologies or business strategies are aligned with Evonik’s product portfolio and a synergistic relationship can therefore be established, they will have a chance to sell their products/technologies to Evonik, or engage in product development with Evonik, or receive capital investment from Evonik Venture Capital.

評分與入選標準 Selection Criteria

主辦單位將於報名截止後,先查證團隊報名文件與資料完整度進行資格審查,再依據「參賽提案」進行書審,透過以下幾大面向進行審核,篩選出最多15間公司(三大領域各挑選最多5組)進入決選。

1.整體規劃 : 主題符合性、創新性、可行性;營運成果、市場/產品開發計劃、募資計劃。
2.市場潛力:具市場發展性與競爭優勢。
3.執行力:經營團隊背景、經驗、過去成就、分工計劃及執行能力。
4.與贏創合作可行性:新創公司之技術、服務、市場及發展,與贏創具有未來的合作潛力者。若該新創公司已具備合作條件,則優先考慮。

After the application closing date, an initial screening of each application will be conducted to ensure the information is completed and credentials are verified. The selection committee will then review each proposal according to the criteria below. Up to 15 top applicants (up to 5 from each category) will move on to the final stage in the selection process.

1.Overall Planning: focus areas that relates to the submission must be addressed; proposals’ innovation and feasibility; operational performance, marketing/ product development plans as well as fundraising strategy.
2.Market Potential: Market size estimation and competitive advantages
3.Execution: An organizational structure that includes employees’ experience, accomplishments, roles, and responsibilities.
4.Possible Collaboration Opportunities with Evonik: Applicants whose technologies, services, products, and market vision are aligned with Evonik’s strategic roadmap are preferred.
